Jar Jar first met with the two jedi assigned to help the queen of Naboo.When the jedi Qui-Gonn helped him from a Battle Droid Tank, he had a life debt with him. He joined the group travelling to the planet Coruscant, when the group had to stop at Tatooine, Jar Jar along with the jedi Qui-Gonn Jinn met a young boy named Anakin Skywalker.

  In Coruscant, it was Jar Jar Binks who convinced the young Queen Amidala to the return to the planet Naboo, telling her that the Gungans would fight for the planet. The queen decided to return to Naboo, when the group asked for help to the leader of the Gungans Boss Nass, the leader of the Gungans decided to help the group in his attempt to regain control of the planet, Jar Jar was named a general by Boss Nass.

  Jar Jar and the gungans battled the Trade Federation Battle Droid Army and Tanks and when the planet was saved, Jar Jar regained his true place among his people.
